SMB Community Feedback Request...

Opinions about the value of certs aside for minute - have any of you purchased any tools from Examsaver (as opposed to say, Transcender, or the like)? Based on the sales pitch of the rep – they're selling "all you can eat" exam preparation tools (sound familiar?). Specifically, they explained that I just needed to purchase the one kit for my entire technical team, and multiple people could use their materials simultaneously. Off the bat, it sounds fishy at best… but as my searches didn’t turn up much in the way of negative customer feedback… I wanted to throw this to the community to see if anyone else has had dealings with them.

Let me know what you think.

They called me about 2 weeks ago too. I let him waffle whilst I did some other work as he explained their system and how wonderful it was. I told him I wasn't interested at their advertised price and he said he would put me through to his "special sales" team. I hung up and haven't heard back from them. As far as I'm concerned, if I ask for the price NOW, I don't want to waste 20 minutes being told something that I can read on the website.
A shame really as I'm in the process of my MCSE but don't have $2000 of my own money to pay for this training (if it is any good)

Thanks for the feedback Andy. The ExamSaver guys I spoke with were quite arrogant... downright rude, really.
I explained that the hard sell approach wouldn't win converts in the SMB/MSP segment... at which point I got off of the phone.

Anyway, I'm not a huge fan of "exam prep" tools to begin with, but I think it makes sense if my whole team can benefit - assuming everyone is actually learning, as opposed to learning how to test. Probably need to find something though... it just won't be with this group's product.
